Intestinal Worming

The four worms most commonly found in dogs are Roundworm, Hookworm, Whipworm & Tapeworm. Symptoms are usually not visible externally unless a high number of worms is present. Several of the commonly found worms are transmissable to humans and can be particularly dangerous to babies and small children, therefor it is very important to establish an effective worming routine.

Puppies should be wormed every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age then every month until 6 months of age then every 3 months, for life.

Adult dogs should be wormed every 3 months, for life.

There are many different worming products on the market, so we recommend that you come in for professional advice on selecting one of the best treatment options.
