Wildlife

Here at Sunshine Coast Vets we work closely with wildlife carers to help rescue and rehabilitate an abundance of injured native wildlife.

Pomona and its surrounding areas are thick with wildlife and there is never any shortage of injured animals being brought to our clinic.

On any given day it would not be uncommon for us to see Ringtail possums, Brushtail possums, Carpet snakes, Tree snakes, Sugar gliders, Feathertail gliders, Fruit bats, Microbats, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Turtles, Echindas, Kookaburas, Tawny frogmouths and an aray of other native birds mammals and reptiles.

Our team are all very passionate about helping our wildlife and every animal recieves prompt medical treatment when they are brought into our clinic. We do everything possible to ensure the animal can be returned home to its own familiar habitat and live out a long healthy life.
